Visual language
- One action word per shot in the free top of the frame, over a soft dark gradient; the product stays clear below.
- Compose for a 9:16 portrait frame and keep every word and graphic inside the title-safe area (about x 60-960 and y 240-1480 on a 1080x1920 frame). Keep the product, the hands and the food clear: text goes in free space above or beside them.
Typography
- Huge condensed capitals with no closing period: a white outline first, then solid accent fill on the next beat.
- Carry the order through the cut, the action and the words. Do not add progress bars, step numbers, 'x / n' counters, pips or checklists, and do not end on-screen headings or words with a period.
- Write only what the footage shows or the user supplies: actions, ingredients the user confirms, and names printed on the label. Do not add health, nutrition, price or performance claims, and do not write brand names the user does not own.
Color direction
- White outline, one strong accent fill; nothing else added.
- Keep food and product colours true; grade the whole frame, never the product alone.
Editing rhythm
- Two beats per shot: slam on the cut, fill on the following beat.
- Cut on the music's beat grid: fit a steady grid to the detected beats and make every shot an exact number of beats, so the cuts never drift.
Motion principles
- Slam in with a short scale settle; fill with a small camera shake and a short flash.
- Commercial footage often carries burned-in titles, logos and supers that fade or wipe in. Scan the source for cuts at a low threshold, look at stills around every range, and use only clean ranges, or hold a clean frame over the last few frames.
Sound direction
- A drum hit on the slam and a sub hit on the fill.
- If the rights to the original audio are unclear, replace it with a music track the user may use. Keep sound effects under the music, the mix near -14 LUFS and true peak at or below -1 dBTP.
Do not
- Words name only what the shot shows; do not use them for claims.
- Do not cover the product, the hands or the food with text.
- Do not invent claims, prices, ingredients or flavour names.
- Do not leave burned-in source text or logos visible.
- Do not imitate a real brand's logo, packaging or typeface.
